Koromaru or Koro for short is a shadow fighting dog that joins a team of high schoolers in taking down shadows in response to strange events in a tower called Tartarus that appears during the dark hours. He is part of a group called S.E.E.S which stands for Shadow Extracurricular Execution Squad, this abbreviation is shown on his arm band and on the armbands of the other members.
